Ariana Grande meets BTS member Jungkook at her concert backstage and fans want a collaboration

Singer Ariana Grande met South Korean band BTS member Jungkook at her 'Sweetener' concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles

'7 Rings' singer Ariana Grande and South Korean band BTS member Jungkook met recently and fans of the two stars are freaking out on social media and hoping for a collaboration soon. Grande, who performed at the 'Sweetener' concert at the Staples Center in Los Angeles shared a picture on Instagram with Jungkook and captioned it, "screaming. thank u soooooo much for coming to my show, Jungkook. it meant so much. love u sm." Grande also shared a screenshot of the picture as her phone wallpaper further adding to fans' meltdown.

Jungkook also shared a picture of himself holding a commemorative dollar bill from the tour on Twitter and said, "I felt and learned a lot after seeing her stage. I am really challenged by her stage and will try harder!" The youngest member of the seven-member band is currently on a concert tour 'Love Yourself: Speak Yourself'. Jungkook, along with Suga, RM, Jimin, V, Jin and J-hope performed at the Rose Bowl in L.A. on May 4 and May 5.

Fans reacted to both the pictures and hoped that the two stars would collaborate after their respective tours. Twitter user @yellowjub_ wrote, "*has an actual meltdown cos I love them both sm and OHMYGOD imagine if they collabed*." Another fan, Anna tweeted, "Ariana Grande loves BTS’ music.... BTS love Ariana's music... are we ready to discuss the possibility of her and Jungkook talking about a collab backstage."

BTS recently collaborated with Halsey for 'Boy With Luv' which hit the top of the Billboard 200 chart and the band even performed the track at the Billboard Music Awards 2019. They have also teased a song with 'Shape of You' singer Ed Sheeran so a collab with Ariana Grande would be a great addition to their colorful collaborations so far. 

After reportedly performing for a crowd of 60,000 people, BTS will next perform in Chicago at Soldier Field on May 11 and  May 12.
