SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: Netflix's 'Love is Blind' Season 5 got its first couple as Jared Pierce proposed to Taylor Rue. From the couple's social media presence, it is not revealed whether they are still together in real life or not.
Every reality show has a rule that one can not reveal their relationship status until all the episodes of the show are released. So there is a slight possibility that Jared and Taylor might still be together as they both continue to follow each other on Instagram.
Ahead of the proposal, Jared said to Taylor, "From the moment you walked into my pod, I just knew there was something so special about you." As the days went on in the pod, Jared knew that he was talking to the "woman he was destined to be with."

After meeting her fiance in real life, Taylor confessed, "In the real world, I probably wouldn't have gone after him." She then continued to make comments on Jared's face saying, "He has a gap. I'm not gonna because of his teeth."
However, Taylor realizes that she is not on the show because of her looks. She said, "That's so stupid to not be with someone because of their teeth, you know." After being engaged to Jared, Taylor said, "Looks don't matter to me anymore. It's really weird to say that."
Taylor further accepted that her whole concept of love has been changed now. She said, "You can't judge someone because of what they look like."

The preview clip of the upcoming episodes hints that Jared and Taylor are about to feud over Taylor's candid comments about his looks. In one of the clips, Jared is seen saying to Taylor, "It just presents as fake."
Taylor replied to Jared, "But you didn't know what I looked like before." This comment hints that the couple might be fighting because of each other's physical appearance.
Moreover, in the trailer, we saw Jared sitting seemingly upset as he said, "How is that I like you better without makeup so bad?"

When Taylor asked Jared to tell something about his childhood, Jared stuttered as he claimed, "So, growing up, my mom was, like, a really angry person."
He then revealed that he has a good relationship with his mother now. He continued to talk about what happened in the past, "She wasn't bad towards me but she would take out her anger on my sisters."
Jared sobbed as he continued, "And just like going into their rooms, wake them up, and yell, and like, trash everything and then leave and go to work."
Jared couldn't do anything other than comfort his sisters as he was too young at that time. He believes his mother took out her anger on his sisters out of the frustration of her relationship with his father.
