Gizelle Bryant's feud with co-star Candiace Dillard Bassett continues in the Season 8 cast trip

POTOMAC, MARYLAND: 'The Real Housewives of Potomac' are experts in tea spilling and shading but Gizelle Bryant and Candiace Dillard Bassett are the best at it.

Fans, however, couldn't help but criticize one more than the other when both were required to participate in a cast trip to Austin in Season 8.

The cast is gallantly attempting to pull off successful all-cast events; this week.

Ashley Darby pulled the short straw and whisked the group to Austin, the home of daisy dukes, craft beer and bachelorette parties.

Gizelle and Candiace have cut all relations with one another and announced a blood feud that would involve their entire tribe.

Each has both illegitimate and valid justifications for their opinions.

Gizelle has utterly discounted the seriousness of her charges against Chris Bassett, the multiple ways she indicated them and modified her account, and the possible consequences.

Candiace has toned down her social media activity, but she is still prone to making juvenile things out of rage.

Fans believe it allows Gizelle to play the victim, especially because she does not tweet every week.

Candiace is accurate in presuming that Gizelle believes that if she ignores her for long enough, she will vanish.

Candiace is right to be angry, but she's handled everything wrong, including declaring on Robyn Dixon, who might have helped you find a way out; now figure out a way out, or you'll be kicked off the program.

On X, fans asked, "Gizelle saying Candiace has said things that directly affected her family but doesn’t think what she said affected Candiace’s family?"

Another person chimed in, "Gizelle wreaking havoc in Candiace and Wendy’s lives yet walking away unscathed while painting herself as the victim is peak colorism." 

One fan noted, "Gizelle, no one MADE you go anywhere or do anything. Stop with that narrative. You’re a grown a** woman. Stop being a loser and acting starless."

A fourth user slammed her, "Shut the f**k up Gizelle. You are not the victim here. You are the one that started it all. Candiace was just responding. She called Candiace’s husband a sneaky link. And now he MADE her go into a bedroom? They walked into a hotel room during a reunion. She went too far." 

Fans further commented, "Dr Wendy and Candiace were 100 per cent in the right for cursing Gizelle the f**k out. Now she’s mad because she plays with folks families and she received a verbal thrashing. Whole lotta playing victim and the villain at the same time *in my Beyoncé voice."

Another one added, "Okay so Gizelle had safety concerns, first with Chris and Monique Samuels, now with Chris and Candiace but why didn’t she feel that way when Juan 'yelled' at her? Someone help me understand." 

Candiace Dillard claims ‘troll’ Gizelle Bryant won’t ‘infiltrate’ her marriage with hearsay

Candiace has heard the rumors about her marriage to Chris, and she intends to put an end to them once and for all.

"Chris and I are constantly being tested, and I always joke [that] the pandemic and this show have proven to us that we are ironclad [and] we are Teflon," the 'RHOP' star told Us Weekly on November 3 at BravoCon. "We were meant to be together," she added. 

Candiace cut Gizelle's speech as BravoCon began.

"She thinks that’s a little believable or she supports her friend in not believing that Juan [Dixon] had sex with a woman allegedly at a hotel. I’m sorry," Candiace joked to the source during the event in Las Vegas, alluding to Robyn Dixon's husband.

“No matter how hard a miserable, sad troll with a long neck may try to infiltrate a happy marriage, she just won’t succeed. And that’s all she wrote.”

According to rumors, Gizelle is done with Candiace.

"I don't even know what the hell's going on in Candiace's home, nor do I care, OK?"

Candiace tossed a little social media smoke Gizelle's way after addressing infidelity suspicions about Candiace's husband, Chris Bassett, on her podcast with co-star Robyn, 'Reasonably Shady,' the OG 'RHOP' star tells ET over Zoom.

"If you would just shut the f**k up and worry about your boyfriends for hire and cheating husbands, you wouldn't have to post 'proof' that you weren't behind yet another plot against someone's family," Candiace said on X.

"Once again, the people of God are tired," she added. 

"I don't care what she says on Twitter at all, and clearly she should be concerned about what's going on in her bedroom, 'cause unfortunately, we've all seen what she sleeps with... unfortunately," she replies.

Candiace Dillard Bassett calls Gizelle Bryant a 'robot' who 'lie’s on others'

Candiace is not shy about expressing her feelings about her co-star Gizelle. Candiace and Dr Wendy Osefo, another Housewife, spoke with ET's Brice Sander at BravoCon in Las Vegas, providing insight into their tumultuous relationships on the show.

Candiace started off by talking about her relationship with Robyn. "Well, I think you have to kind of separate those things right because Robin and I have a history, we have a friendship, that was my sister, and I think she's just sort of in a trance right now, so I'm just waiting at the corner, I'm at the bus stop, I'm waiting on her to wake up."

"Snap out!" Wendy said.

However, the topic swiftly switched to Candice's sentiments toward Gizelle. "I just, you know, it's very hard to have even a simple relationship with a robot and someone who has perpetually decided that she is not going to share her life but instead lie on others' lives," she said. "Go ahead."
