Selena Gomez has been in two very public relationships with two of the biggest stars of the music industry. She dated Justin Bieber for two years at the beginning of the past decade. They broke up in November 2012 before rekindling their relationship the following year after which they dated on and off over the next couple of years, even dating other celebrities while on break from each other. The two met for a breakfast date after Gomez's lupus diagnosis. She also reportedly dated Bella Hadid's ex, the Weeknd, from January to October 2017.

Chris Evans has dated a bevy of Hollywood beauties right from Jessica Biel to Jenny Slate, and he was also linked to Sandra Bullock while she was in the midst of getting a divorce in 2010. Evans and Lizzo have engaged in some fun online banter. Lizzo has been joking a lot about being in a relationship with Evans and once started a rumor that she was pregnant with his child. "This is something that I've been really trying to keep personal and private between me and the father of my child, but since we're airing out all the rumors today, I've been sucking in. We're gonna have a little America," she said in a TikTok video. A few days later Lizzo tweeted a screenshot showing Evans was in her dm. "Hi! Just heard about our little bundle of joy my mother will be so happy lol," Evans had written in a message to her. 

What started the Selena Gomez and Chris Evans' dating rumor?

The rumors started after Evans followed Gomez on Twitter and this detail didn't escape eagle-eyed fans who have shipped the couple in the past. This has to do with the fact that Gomez had admitted to having a crush on him in the past. “I kind of have a crush on Chris Evans. Isn’t he cute?” Gomez revealed during an appearance on 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' adding, “He’s very cute.” She then wondered aloud if Evans would love or hate the fact that she openly spoke about having a crush on him to which Cohen replied, “I think he’s going to love you!”
