‘A car just went through my neighbor's house!’: FRANTIC 911 call revealed after Anne Heche crashed into LA home
MAR VISTA, LOS ANGELES: A 911 call moments after Anne Heche crashed her car into a Los Angeles home on August 5 has brought up new details about the tragic car crash which led to the actress' death.
A recording of the call, obtained by HollywoodLife, reveals the caller saying, "A car just went through my neighbor’s house," while the 911 dispatcher asks whether "anyone was thrown out of the vehicle." The caller replies, "Somebody is opening the back to see if we can access [it] because they’re kinda trapped in the front door… inside the car."

Initially, the caller said that the person inside might be okay. The caller also said that people were getting a water hose because of "smoke." Throughout the call, panicked voices are heard in the background. The caller added that there was "lots of smoke" and there was somebody trapped in the car.
The dispatcher reassures the caller that paramedics were on their way and they should get the driver out of the car if we can. "But I need you to stay in a safe location. Don’t put yourself in any danger," the dispatcher is heard saying.
Before Heche's fatal car crash, the actress had bought a red wig from a nearby salon. According to CNN, nearly 60 firefighters were present on scene to extinguish the flames and recuse the actress.
The 53-year-old actress succumbed to her injuries from the crash. Doctors determined that Anne had suffered "a severe anoxic brain injury and [remained] in a coma, in critical condition."
She was removed from life support on Sunday, August 14, after suitable organ recipients were identified by health officials. Heche was reportedly "high on cocaine". The drug was found in her bloodstream after the crash, but she had not been drinking alcohol.
'Sad day', celebs offer condolences
Hollywood celebrites, friends, colleagues and fellow entertainers took to social media to mourn and pay tributes to the late star, including her ex Ellen DeGeneres, who said, "This is a sad day. I'm sending Anne's children, family and friends all of my love." The couple dated from 1997 until 2000, becoming one of Hollywood’s most famous same-sex couples.
Director James Gunn said in a tweet, "Honest to God, I think maybe the best acting performance I’ve ever seen in my life was Anne Heche in PROOF on Broadway. #RIP."

Anne Heche rose to prominence portraying the twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love on the soap opera 'Another World' from 1987 to 1991, which earned her a Daytime Emmy Award and two Soap Opera Digest Awards. She received further recognition in the late 1990s with roles in the crime drama film 'Donnie Brasco', 'Volcano', the slasher film 'I Know What You Did Last Summer,' and 'Return to Paradise' among others.
