Evans and de Armas team up for 'Ghosted'
Last month, the trailer for the upcoming romantic action-adventure film 'Ghosted' was released, featuring the dynamic duo of actors Evans and de Armas. The trailer follows Evans' character as he chases after de Armas following an unforgettable night out that included making out and sex, only for her to disappear without a trace. Determined to find her, Evans heads to London only to find himself kidnapped and in need of rescue by none other than de Armas who reveals herself to be a CIA agent.
All of this unfolds to the tune of The Proclaimers' hit song 'I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles),' adding an extra layer of excitement to the already action-packed trailer. With a tagline like "Meeting that special someone can be a real adventure," viewers can expect a thrilling ride when 'Ghosted' drops on AppleTV+ on April 21. Directed by Dexter Fletcher, the film was written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, the screenwriters behind the popular film 'Deadpool,' and Chris McKenna, who penned the upcoming blockbuster 'Spider-Man: No Way Home.' From 'Knives Out' to 'Ghosted'

The dynamic duo last worked together on 'The Gray Man' and before that on the 2019 hit film 'Knives Out.' Evans shared a photo from the set of 'Ghosted' on Instagram back in April 2022, captioning it "The Turner Family." Originally, 'Ghosted' was announced in 2021 with both Evans and Scarlett Johansson who co-starred in the Marvel Cinematic Universe set to star. However, Johansson had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts.
