Amy Nelson is a 28-year-old from Cincinnati, Ohio, who earlier did pottery on Twitch and currently lives in Los Angeles. Nelson works as an illustrator, and a  media and graphic designer and can always be seen helping Markiplier in his videos.

Markiplier and Amy Nelson's first meeting 

Nelson started dating Markiplier in 2015 and made her first official appearance when she accompanied Mark to VidCon in 2016, which led to speculation that she and Mark were dating. After so much speculation from fans, she finally spoke up on Twitter and admitted that they had started dating.
