The Dreamville Records founder Jermaine Cole aka J Cole has just dropped two new spectacular tracks, 'The Climb Back' and 'Lion King On Ice'. Both songs now feature on his latest single 'Lewis Street'. J Cole had previously heralded the news of his latest offerings on his Twitter account, saying "The Climb Back — produced by me. Lion King on Ice — produced by J Cole, T-Minus, and Jetson. First 2 songs from The Fall Off. Dropping tomorrow night 10 pm. No date for the album yet, taking my time, still finishing." This means we'll have to wait a while for his hotly-anticipated album, 'The Fall Off', to release, but at least we have these two bangers to keep us satiated until then.

True to his word, J Cole dropped the new tracks soon after the Snoop Dogg vs DMX Verzuz IG Live Battle concluded on July 22, leaving a short announcement on his Twitter account that said, "First 2 songs from The Fall Off. Out now."

Fans immediately were raving about his latest efforts, with many agreeing that the Grammy-winning rapper was displaying the best form of his career thus far. J Cole had recently received a lot of flak for his last song 'Snow On Tha Bluff', with many viewing it as a patriarchal diss at the popular singer and social activist Noname, but in actuality, it served as a candid and humble social commentary on the condition of the nation in the wake of the recent Black Lives Matter protests. However, these two songs are being hailed as instant classics and fans have been excitedly discussing it on social media.

'The Climb Back' has J Cole talking about rediscovering his love for rap and traumatic life experiences in the past, while 'Lion King On Ice' features J Cole donning his alter ego of Young Simba, although this is a leaner, meaner, older and darker version of Simba. You can check out both songs below.

One fan said, "'The Climb Back' is some of J Cole’s best rapping to date. It’s actually laced with so much clever wordplay and bars and the flow is relentless. There’s no doubt now that he’s improved incredibly. This Cole is HUNGRY again." Another fan crowed, "The Climb Back is one J Cole's best songs he's ever made. The timing is so perfect with the current state of the world right now." You can check out the amazing lyrics here.

As for 'Lion King on Ice', fans were praising J Cole to the skies, with one fan saying, "Lion King On Ice got a crazy bop to it." Another admirer was marveling at his sublime rap game, "Real ones that been around since our guy was young Simba... Lion King On Ice... just hits different... the evolution." You can check out the beast lyrics here.

One supporter said, "Jermaine ate all the verses on The Climb Back. Lion King on Ice starts slow then this man comes in with the FIRE." Another fangirl declared, "J Cole is so fine. Who made that man?" Another admirer stated, "J Cole is the realest rapper out there. You cannot change my mind." One listener observed, "'Cole is spitting... This is what you call rap! No melodies just bars." Another sharp-eared fan noted, "I can hear Kendrick in the background of The Climb Back. Listen close!" which threw rap fans into another tailspin when they realized that Kendrick Lamar was also a guest feature.

One user said what we were all thinking when he marveled, "How does J Cole keep getting better at rapping?" As another fan concluded, "Lion King On Ice is FIRE but The Climb Back is just on a different level. Cole went 2/2 tho and that's a fact."
