How did Kelcey Wetterberg join DCC?
Kelcey Wetterberg's journey to joining the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders (DCC) is as interesting as her iconic team. Starting dance at the age of 3 and competing by 8, Kelcey built a strong foundation that she carried through high school with the Nebraska Dance Company and Millard West Dance Team. She continued her dance career at Arizona State University, where she was on the dance team from 2015 to 2017, and achieved international success as a Gold Medalist with the United States National Jazz Team in 2017.
From 2017 to 2019, she served as the Choreography Captain for the Nebraska Scarlets Dance Team, showcasing her leadership skills. Inspired by the DCC's reputation and watching 'DCC: Making the Team', Kelcey pursued her dream and successfully navigated the rigorous audition process. Her extensive dance experience, leadership qualities, and determination helped her stand out, leading to her official membership with the DCC.
