INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA: 'Teen Mom' star Amber Portwood posted a disturbing message on social media after losing custody of her young son. On March 26, the reality star took to Instagram to share the message with her followers.
Amber previously alarmed followers by posting a somber picture of herself. In the post, the TLC celeb wished her followers all the best for the new year. However, the picture she posted with the message wasn't as upbeat as her words. The 32-year-old star then posted a picture of herself seated in an airport with a solemn expression on her face.

'Work in progress'
Amber posted a gloomy photo on Instagram. The reality personality is still reeling from the loss of both her baby and her show. Although she did not show herself in the post, her words spoke volumes about her present situation. "Them: 'What do you do for a living?'"
Me: 'My best, I do my best.'"
In the comments, the 32-year-old elaborated, saying, "Some days it’s a challenge and others it’s a breeze!" before using the phrase #workinprogress.
Amber Portwood is on full visits with son James
Amber lost custody of her baby boy James in August after a 3-year custody fight with her ex Andrew Glennon. Amber also recently lost her reality program, which was canceled. Amber has featured on MTV since a 2009 episode of '16 and Pregnant,' when she welcomed her now 14-year-old daughter, Leah, with her ex-fiancé, Gary Shirley. Her battles with mental health and addiction, as well as her time in prison, were thoroughly documented on the program. The celebrity was imprisoned for 17 months on drug allegations over ten years ago. She struggled to stay sober after her release in 2013, reconnect with her daughter, and continue her college education. Trolls slammed her parenting choices, and her mental health battles were captured on video.
The MTV personality has been candid with her followers about her difficulties following her custody loss. Andrew moved to Malibu in August after being awarded complete custody of his son and authorization to return to his native state. Amber is putting her son's custody at the top of her priority list right now. Amber is frequently on FaceTime with James when she is not with him to bridge the distance between visits.
James has adjusted to his new life in California, and he plans to register in Pre-K in the spring, as well as participate in recreational sports activities.
