Rumour is that Amber Liu leaked Blackpink's Jennie and Big Bang’s G-Dragon dating rumors. The Taiwanese-American singer, rapper, and songwriter, who debuted as a member of the South Korean girl group f(x) in 2009, was apparently the one who spilled the beans about the Blackpink and Big Bang stars' relationship. Dispatch revealed that the pair have been dating for a year and that the two celebrities often had their dates at home. 

Liu finds herself in another controversy, after coming under fire for commenting on a viral video in 2019 saying Black people "deserve it", as they don’t show respect to the police and calling George Floyd’s tragic death a 'first-degree murder'. Amber's name began trending once more after a Twitter user reshared one of her old posts, saying "y’all know who to blame". The musician has denied the charge with a simple 'N'. After being canceled twice, fans took to Twitter to place the blame once more on the South Korean singer, who appears to still be paying for her old mistakes.

'She sent their pics to Dispatch herself'

A lot of people started sharing fake news about Amber's role in the incident. "Amber liu personally took the pics of jennie and gdragon and sent them to dispatch herself," said a tweet. "BREAKING: Dispatch’s intel on G-Dragon and Jennie’s alleged relationship has been sourced and traced back to former f(x) member Amber Liu’s home in Los Angeles."

The post is meant to be a joke, as no such information has been confirmed. Some people made up bizarre stories just to bring the singer back into the negative light. "Amber liu kicked me in the shins in middle school when we studied together she called me a dirty little b***h and broke my glasses," said one of the comments.

'Normalize blaming everything on her'

Tweets got really vicious as some wanted to "normalize blaming everything on amber liu". "Can amber liu change her name out of respect for Amber (Genshin Impact)," said a tweet, while another caught on to the hate train and fake news to say "I get Amber Liu sending the pics to dispatch was wrong. But telling her she's a bad person and telling her to log off Twitter and even threatening her is going too far." They also apologized for going off on Amber, saying: "So I wanna fix my mistake on the tweet above. I've been told that there's no proof of her sending those photos of jennie and dragon and that dispatch only said that. Please get your facts straight everyone." "Looking through amber liu’s twt account is so pitiful . like that’s a grown woman starting fight with children on the internet. embarrassing," another agreed.

'Hate train getting out of hand'

Many people supported Amber, saying the hating was getting out of the hand identifying her as a trailblazing idol icon. "Imma be honest.. the amber liu hate train is a whole lot outta hand," said a Twitter user. "Amber Liu. One of the FIRST renowned idols who successfully defied idol stereotypes. In 2009, K-pop wasn't as huge as it is right now, a lot of people questioned and criticized how she looked. f(x) paved a way for authenticity and uniqueness in the entire industry. #Chuang2021," said a tweet.

"Everyone thinking its so funny to blame Amber Liu for stupid shit to get a laugh, when thats the same shit yall did to Sulli. And what happened with her? Exactly. Im not saying you have to love, like or even tolerate Amber but yall are really low life's if you do that shit," said another. Some agreed to share her name on Twitter just so that she doesn't see the hateful comments. "Hey guys, let’s tweet “amber liu” so that she will not see those comments anymore, this is the only thing we can do to help her rather than debating those haters," said a Twitter user.
