Behavioral analyst, Susan Constantine, shared her two cents on the 'power play' that the former couple, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard represent. Constantine specializes in reading body language and detecting deception. After hearing both their testimonies, the expert says she 'does not believe' Johnny Depp 'was abusive with' his ex-wife Heard.

The 36-year-old Aquaman actress took the stand in the Fairfax, Virginia court, for the first time since the trial started in mid-April, on Wednesday, May 4. Depp, 58 completed his testimony on Tuesday, a day before. The duo accused each other of physical and emotional abuse.

What is histrionic personality disorder? Amber Heard prone to 'violence' and 'externalising blame'

Behavioral analyst Constantine told FoxNews, "The question is, was he abusive with Amber? I do not believe that he was abusive with Amber," Constantine said, "I think that Amber was the aggressor … 100%". Talking about Amber, she said that the actress either has 'borderline personality disorder' (BPD) or is battling 'some emotional insecurity issues.'

On Tuesday, April 26, another expert Dr Shannon Curry, a forensic and clinical psychologist, testified on behalf of Depp's legal team. She said that Heard has a borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder (HPD). Curry testified that "the results of Ms Heard's evaluation supported two diagnoses...borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder."

On the basis of the results of the evaluation, Curry thinks Heard is a "3-6" code type. These numbers mean, as explained by the expert, that Heard is primarily concerned with image, she is prone to treating others with cruelty and externalizing blame and is unable to take responsibility of her wrongdoing. Individuals with a "3-6" score are more likely to be, "passive-aggressive, self-indulgent, self-centered, [and] needy for approval and attention."

After analyzing, Constantine thinks the former couple represents a 'power play' with their attires and the way they dress for court. She said, "[W]e do talk about her dress code. You know, she's parodying what Johnny is wearing. Wear the Gucci tie and the Gucci pin. … When you look at this parroting of how they're dressed alike, this definitely is a power-play between the two of them. Who's the one that's wearing the pants in the family?"

A common notion she spoke of was that attorneys often advise women to not wear 'black in the courtroom'. Constantine said, "A woman never wears black in the courtroom. Ever, ever, ever. So what's this all about? Domestic violence, power, control and dominance. What does she wear? A color of control, power and dominance. So, really, a bad move on Amber Heard's legal team." She added that Heard's pantsuit mimics that of her ex-husband.
