'Trying to come off as victim': Amber Heard mocked for 'UNNATURAL' facial expressions during trial
The Aquaman actress' ever-changing facial expressions are making Twitter users cringe. As seen in the defamation trial against her ex-husband Johnny Depp for $100 million, Heard was defending herself.
'Amber Heard's facial expressions frighten me', 'unnatural', 'narcissistic mood' are commonly read phrases all across Twitter after netizens watched the trial that continues into whether Heard defamed the Murder on the Orient Express star in a 2018 op-ed about being a survivor of domestic abuse.

Though the statement did not really specify Depp by name, Depp's lawyers and legal team claim that it was quite clear Heard was indicating Johnny referring to the 'Hollywood leading man' and also that this cost him roles in certain upcoming movies. The Aquaman actress, 35, claims that Depp is ruining her reputation by accusing her of lying in the article. Heard countersued for $100 million.
As the days pass, more and more accusations are being surfaced with some revelations and some rumors. As of this point, a majority of spectators seem to think Depp suffered abuse at the hands of Heard. Twitter users observed that Heard seemed to look sad and afraid at one point. But she instantly went to smirking and back to her sad face in an instant.
These changes in her expressions were noticed as Depp took the stand during the trial in Fairfax, Virginia. Recalling an incident where he felt things changing, Depp explained how he and Heard shared a routine. When he would return from work, she would take off his boots and give him a glass of wine. Once when Depp took his boots off by himself, she became irate. Heard then told Depp that it was her 'job' to do that and he broke her routine. Depp said, "I did take a pause of course, the fact she was visibly shaken or upset that I had broken her rules of routine."
Depp added, "Once you notice something like that you start to notice other tidbits that come out," he said last week. He continued, "Then within a year, a year and a half she had become another person, almost."
On Monday, April 25 an audio was played in the courtroom where Depp tells Heard, "Walking away is necessary, is necessary, especially between you and I. It's of utmost importance. The next move, if I don't walk away, it's just going to be a bloodbath. Like it was on the island, it's not worth it. Why be miserable, can we just have some understanding?" Heard replied if given the choice, she would obviously choose to walk away. Depp then said, "Then why has it (a bloodbath) been chosen so many times?"
Netizens voiced their opinions on the social media platform.
One said, "$100 million actress still can’t keep her mask up when reminded of her abuse towards everyone," as she shared images of Amber's face.

Another added, "She's been interesting to watch. Very narcissistic mood in there."
This user said, "I feel like Amber Heard has an earpiece and someone saying "Cut to camera 2" and she changes her facial expression when the camera is on her. I've seen her smirk/smile and suddenly change expression as if she's realised she's on cam."

Another user wrote: "They say that Amber Heard has NO personality and with these facial expressions you can see why," while another person claimed she was acting like a non-player character in a video game. "She's full on making facial expressions like she's a Sims character," he wrote, as another accused her of "trying to come off as the victim in her facial expressions."
Here's a clip that shows her quick-changing facial expressions.
