Get ready for a coming-of-age comedy series and also grab some tissues and popcorn because the official trailer for Amazon Prime Video's new series 'As We See It' has just been revealed. The show sees how three autistic roommates discover a way to live together and aim for the same goals in life.

Rick Glassman, Albert Rutecki and Sue Ann Pien, who are all on the autistic spectrum, star in the show. Sosie Bacon, Chris Pang, and Joe Mantegna will be joining them. We already have a trailer and first-look images, so all we have to do now is wait for it to be released on Amazon Prime Video. It is based on the Israeli show 'On the Spectrum'. What is 'As We See It' all about

The official synopsis as on Amazon Prime Video reads "As We See It follows Jack (Rick Glassman), Harrison (Albert Rutecki), and Violet (Sue Ann Pien), twentysomething roommates on the autism spectrum as they strive to get and keep jobs, make friends, fall in love, and navigate a world that eludes them. With the help of their families, aides and sometimes even each other, these roommates experience setbacks and celebrate triumphs on their own unique journeys towards independence and acceptance.

Rick Glassman

Rick Glassman is an actor and producer, known for Undateable (2014), A Futile and Stupid Gesture (2018) among others. He calls himself a comedian and writer. His weekly podcast, "Take Your Shoes Off" ranges between interviews & casual conversations with other comedians, actors, directors, musicians, collectors and anyone else he finds interesting.  He has appeared in Adam Devine’s 'House Party', played Clifford on FX’s 'The Comedians' starring Billy Crystal and Josh Gad, and wrote/directed/starred in the mini-series 'The Sixth Lead', which won Best Short Film at the IFS Festival

The roommates are played by newcomers Glassman, Albert Rutecki, and Sue Ann Pien. Each of the three performers is on the autistic spectrum. Sosie Bacon (Mare of Easttown), Chris Pang (Crazy Rich Asians), and Joe Mantegna (Criminal Minds) also join them.

Showrunner

Jason Katims, best known for writing Friday Night Lights and developing the NBC series Parenthood, has directed his latest work, 'As We See It'. He'll be the showrunner, writer, and executive producer for the project.  The original creators Dana Idisis and Yuval Shafferman also serve as executive producers.
