The biggest names of the music industry gathered on Sunday evening for the 47th American Music Awards at the Microsoft Theatre in LA and judging by the looks on the red carpet, they seemed to have come to have fun. Thigh-high slits ruled the night along with pops of florescent and fun prints. Here are the top 10 looks of the night.

Halsey continued her romantic-goth streak of the season, donning a colorful frilly floral number and matching blue and pink eye.
2. Billy Porter
Billy Porter does not ever come to play. He slayed in this head to toe white outfit that featured a cape and headgear that only Billy could pull off.
3. Lizzo
The 'Truth Hurts' singer wore a fun orange mini dress, layered with frills, featuring a one-shoulder neckline. What was legitimately one of the most iconic red carpet moments this year was her purse - a tiny and we mean tiny, white clutch.
4. Selena Gomez
Selena usually goes for an elegant look for award show red carpets, but this was a far cry from it - she donned a neon green strapless mini and matching pumps. Looks like Selena's style is definitely getting a lot sexier after her break!
