The 47th Annual American Music Awards, one of the biggest events of the year, is finally here. The awards recognize the most popular artists and albums of the year with millions of people voting for their favorite artists. However, questions of who is going to win and who is going to go home empty-handed will only be answered on the night of the award show.

During the last year's AMA, Ciara made the headlines for her superhit performance with hip-hop legend Missy Elliott. This year, she is coming back as a host for the event.
Biggest nominations
This year, Post Malone grabbed the most number of nominations, a whopping seven. Billie Eilish and Ariana Grande have received six nominations each. Taylor Swift will receive the 'Artist of the Decade' award for her contribution to the music industry.
Performances
This year, we will get to see Billie Eilish's first-ever award show performance on ABC. In addition to that, Lizzo is going to hit the AMA stage for the very first time, too.
After a sensational performance last year, Camila Cabello will be performing this year too. Joining her would be Selena Gomez and Dua Lipa.
