For the first time since 2017, All Time Low has released new music after building up to the release with a series of cryptic tweets. The new song, titled 'Some Kind of Disaster', was released on January 21 with a music video the band dropped on YouTube.

The song itself is an upbeat track that is markedly more evolved than their older works but it's still got that classic All Time Low touch. The timeless pop-punk band's fans are understandably overjoyed with the new release and are already hailing the song as a "masterpiece" and an absolute bop.

A fan tweeted ecstatically, "Okay but Some Kind Of Disaster is a f***ing bop and All Time Low needs to be more appreciated."

"I find it incredibly ironic that I decided to wear an @AllTimeLow t-shirt to the gym today only to come home and see that they've dropped a new kick-ass song," another fan wrote. "Today's gonna be a good day."

Another fan wrote, "Can we just take a minute to appreciate what a masterpiece and mood @AllTimeLow's new song #somekindofdisaster is? like, holy hell, @AlexGaskarth, @JackBarakat, @zackalltimelow, @riandawson, how are you able to make me fall in love with your new songs over & over & over again?"

It's been quite a while since we had new music from the band but fans don't mind that it took so long for this song to see the light of day.

"It’s a great day because we finally got new @AllTimeLow music and it was worth the long wait," one fan tweeted. "Congrats to my guys @AlexGaskarth @JackBarakat @riandawson @zackalltimelow."

"It was worth the wait," another fan wrote. "I'm so proud of you. You always got me, you always know how to make me feel understood and less alone. You're the best. Welcome back, we missed you."

Now that the song is here and a full album is no doubt on the way, some of the fans are hoping for an emo revival in 2020.

"Finding out @AllTimeLow dropped a new single while I’m wearing my all-American rejects shirt," a fan wrote. "Grab your eyeliner and dust off your skinny jeans, because AN EMO REVIVAL IS AFOOT #somekindofdisaster."
