In a shocking turn of events, actress and singer Alicia Witt found both her parents deceased at their home in Worcester, after she failed to get in touch with them for several days. On Monday, December 20, Witt asked her cousin to visit her parents' house and check on them, as she was worried about their well-being. Both Robert and Diane Witt's lifeless bodies were then found inside, jolting their daughter to the core.

In a recent statement, a devastated Alicia Witt reflected upon her traumatic ordeal, saying, “Sadly, the outcome was unimaginable. I ask for some privacy at this time to grieve and to wrap my head around this turn of events and this surreal loss.” Worcester police spokesperson Lt. Sean Murtha ruled out the possibility of foul play in the double death, as he stated, "I can confirm that police were dispatched to the residence and discovered a male and a female deceased. There were no signs of foul play. It is under investigation.”
