Will Alicia Keys collaborate with BTS? Truth behind wild rumors after Grammy winner's viral 'Life Goes on' cover
Alicia Keys has dropped a surprise for her fans and the BTS Army when she chose to cover a track of the popular K-pop group's latest album BE’s title track ‘Life Goes On’. The Grammy-winning singer posted the video of the beautiful Piano cover on Twitter with the caption, “Can ya’ll guess this??”
Twitter users immediately pointed out how respectful it was of Alicia Keys since the ‘Fallin’ singer had looked up the translation of the Korean lyrics of the songs before singing and didn’t change any meaning of it. BTS Army applauded Keys’ take and her stunning vocals in the 49-second clip. BTS even retweeted the video.
Thank you.. such a big honor :purple_heart: https://t.co/R9F9vxqKhB

A fan also pointed out the thoughtfulness of Keys’ act stating, “there is a deep irony in Alicia Keys taking the time to read LGO's lyrics and clearly base her English rendition off of them, only for the unqualified White man who reviewed their album for Rolling Stone to not even recognize that's what she did because he didn't do his research.” The user was referring to a recent incident where the BTS Army pointed out that a reviewer of ‘BE’ had done it without reading proper translations of it. Journalist Lenika Cruz posted, “not at a grammy-winning artist reading lyric translations to cover a song by grammy-nominated artists.”

Alicia Keys and BTS actually share a beautiful friendship that the fans can’t get enough of. Recently before the day of ‘BE’s release, BTS member V posted a clip of Keys’ music ‘Love Looks Better’ which the singer retweeted hyping BTS’ next release. Since then, the BTS Army has been demanding a collab between the Grammy-nominated group and the multiple Grammy-winning singer.
Big love!!! Good morning :star-struck::star-struck::star-struck: Ya’ll ready for BE?!? :purple_heart::purple_heart::purple_heart: https://t.co/LIA1m6m19R
