'Alice' Episode 7 will see Jin-gyeom learn more about his mother than he ever knew, but does this mean he will also learn the truth about who his father happens to be? If he does, how would he react to the existence of Alice, the time-traveling team, and the truth that his mother was also a part of this very team?

In the promo of the show, we see Jin-gyeom come across the case of a celebrated physicist's death caused by a home invasion and the only survivor of this incident is the little girl, the physicist's daughter.

This little girl is possibly the same person as Tae-yi as we learned that she was adopted by the family that she belongs to at the moment. The same person who holds the last page of the Book of Prophecy that retells the story of how Alice began and how it will end. The last page is the one that would hold the answer to how Alice can be stopped and many parties have been holding out to find the book.

It was in Park Sun-young's care after which it is now in Seok O-won's care. In the promo, we see that the one person Sun-young had spoken to during her time as Jin-gyeom's mother is the scientist. She had also traveled with him to the university where Tae-yi was studying and we see her look at herself.

Strangely though, she is also the one who says "this child will be the one to stop Alice". Is she referring to herself in the past and Jin-gyeom's future or is she referring to her son? Either way, both professor Tae-yi and Jin-gyeom have already become tangled in this mess. Tae-yi has even gone as far as to figure out that the time card has a strand of the equations that she has been working on as part of her research into time travel.

So with the time card that she got from Jin-gyeom, she has figured that her theory about her mother who suddenly disappeared could very well be true. Turns out, Tae-yi's mother had disappeared one fine day without any word to her and had left her at an orphanage. It is since then that Tae-yi had been interested in the concept of time travel and had studied to research into the same.

The fact that Min-hyuk has also seen Tae-yi leaves us wondering what he would do if he found out that Tae-yi is helping Jin-gyeom stop Alice. 'Alice' airs on SBS on Fridays and Saturdays at 10 pm KST and can be streamed on Viki Global.
