Aespa is coming with a fairytale single and the dreamy concepts photos of the track titled ‘Forever’ has got fans curious to see the girls in an absolutely contrasting new avatar following the fierceness of ‘Black Mamba’. SM Entertainment’s rookie group will offer not just a music video but also a performance video of the song back to back on February 5th and 6th. Here are all the deets that you need to catch up on.

Aespa, the rookie group of SM that debuted in 2020 already made a stir with their first single ‘Black Mamba’ offering a refreshing new concept incorporating their virtual avatars ‘ae’ with their real selves in the video. The rookie group also snagged quite a few rookie of the year awards including Seoul Music Awards, Gaon Chart Music Awards (digital division), and Asian Pop Music Awards.

Concept

Aespa’s new single ‘Forever’ is a remake of K-pop star Yoo Young-jin’s hit track from the 'Winter Vacation in SMTOWN'. For this track, the girls previously seen embodying a bold concept will be seen in a dreamy fairytale world. The set of teasers released through Aespa’s social media handles reveal a reign of purple and pink hues where Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning pose in shimmery wonderland. Date

The music video of ‘Forever’ will be released through YouTube on February 5th at 6 PM KST (4 AM ET) along with the performance video dropping on February 6th.

Pre-buzz

Aespa, within months of debut, has already managed to solidify a strong fan base. Fans are super hyped about the new single as this will be a brand new concept for the girls. A fan praised the girl group prior to the release of ‘Forever’ stating,  “Aespa is a superglobal monster rookie. They are so beautiful and pretty and they are so amazing, talented and perfect performance on stage and stage outside. I am so proud of them and I will support Aespa forever.
