Adin Ross BANNED from Twitch after being swatted again, angry fans say 'he's the victim'

BOCA RATON, FLORIDA: Twitch streamer Adin Ross, who is no stranger to the experience of being swatted, endured another swatting on Monday, November 7, but this time, much to everyone's surprise, he was briefly banned from Twitch when he himself was a victim.

Ross can be seen in his living room, making a call to a friend as the SWAT squad arrives, in the video from the day he was swatted. He informs his friends that he was getting swatted, hangs up the phone, and kneels on the ground with his hands around his head. He then asks questions to the stream and camera "Why do ya'll do this people, bro? Why the f**k do you all swat people, why do you do this s**t? I hear my friends outside already being screamed at by cops, bro, why do you all do this bro?" Ross then urges his other housemates to kneel with him in the living room. At the end of the video, while he speaks with a SWAT officer on the phone, Ross can be seen stepping outside with his hands raised.

Following the stream, Ross was briefly banned from Twitch, which infuriated many of his fans, who took to Twitter to vent their frustration. One fan wrote, "They banned him from something he didn't have CONTROL of. Common L Twitch." Another fan who was upset over the ban wrote, "Why he got banned he the victim," to which another fan responded, "Twitch hasn't been on timing lately."

"Adin ross just got banned on twitch after being swatted wtf," wrote one fan who was shocked by the ban while another added, "Adin gets banned for getting swatted but ppl can have sex on twitch." Another fan asked Twitch to fix the issue wrote," No way @adinross got banned because he was being swatted just now. @Twitch fix your s**t."

The Twitch streamer was briefly banned from the service, but neither Ross nor Twitch have officially stated why; it seems to have been a temporary fix to get the video taken down. Twitch regulation states that it can remove a video "in situations where a user has lost control of their broadcast due to severe injury, medical emergency, police action, or being targeted with serious violence."

According to StreamerBans, Ross has been subjected to six temporary bans since 2020. Additionally, the famed streamer has been swatted during a fan meetup in 2021 and again in August 2022 while streaming.
