What does swatting mean for streamers?
The streaming industry helps thousands of people become stars but it can also make things extremely dangerous for them. The majority of people won't really care about personal information but many use it for darker purposes like "swatting", Swatting is a cruel prank in which someone calls the police on a streamer and claims they have committed some sort of horrible crime in an effort to get them to respond. Then, law enforcement is likely to send a SWAT team to the streamer's house.
Adin Ross is a 20-year-old Twitch streamer turned YouTuber from the gaming industry. He became well-known by live-streaming himself playing NBA and Grand Theft and NBA 2K.
