LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Adele, who was recently seen showing off her engagement ring at the 2022 Brit Awards, is reportedly hoping for a summer wedding in Las Vegas with her new fiance Rich Paul. However, things may not go as planned as some of the 34-year-old's inner circle fear that the sports agent, 41, will soon leave her after getting "bored with her." This comes only a month after the 'Hello' hitmaker slammed rumors that she was having troubles with her beau.

"Rich is a very charming, influential guy. But the worry is he's using Adele to boost his Hollywood profile and it'll all end in tears once he's gotten bored with her," dished an insider to RadarOnline. Adele's engagement ring is an 8-carat pear-cut diamond on a fine platinum band that reportedly cost her fiance Paul over half a million pounds. The proposal had likely cemented the couple's two-year romance. However, the insiders are still concerned about Paul’s reasons for being in a relationship with the songstress.

Pals find Paul to be a 'questionable influence'

"Before they went public, hardly anyone had heard of the guy. Now he's front and center at all the big events, soaking up the limelight and encouraging her to get out there and party alongside him," one source told. Moreover, Adele’s ex-husband Simon Konecki whom she shares her son, Angelo, 10, was worried over her recent alcohol binges. The insiders claim that Paul is a "questionable influence," who's "sucked her into this splashy, flashy environment."

Adele is 'eating out of the palm of his hand'

RadarOnline’s source insisted that Adele is head over heels for the sports personality so much so that she is "eating out of the palm of his hand." Moreover, her friends are worried that "one day he'll just take off and move on to his next conquest." The 'Someone Like You' hitmaker is reportedly pushing for a summer wedding but Paul "would prefer to take more time." The insider spilled, “If Adele had her way they’d be married already. She’s begged Rich to elope on countless occasions, and now has set her heart on doing it in Las Vegas sooner than later.”

This comes after the British singer gave Paul an ultimatum that he could either "marry her or move on." The pair reportedly got engaged after Adele announced that she wants to expand her family. "I want a baby next year," she shared on The Graham Norton Show in 2022. "I have plans next year! I have plans," she said while adding, "Imagine if I have to cancel the shows because I'm having a baby." However, it appears that the couple, who first went public with their romance in July 2021, will not be having a baby until after marriage.
