'Still waiting’: Adele teases fans with London concert, gets dragged for Las Vegas residency no-show

'Everyone in #lasvegas hates @Adele' wrote a social media user echoing the thoughts of many angry fans

Adele is all set to make a comeback for a British tour after a gap of five years and to tease the same, the Academy Award-winning crooner took to her Instagram and shared a few behind-the-scenes snaps. The ‘Rolling in the Deep’ hitmaker posted a few no-make-up look photographs while rehearsing for her two-day London concert at Hyde Park.
 
While Adele's British fans were elated with the news, fans here in Las Vegas got furious over the crooner not scheduling a date for a concert in Las Vegas. They also dragged her for sharing no update on her reportedly canceled Las Vegas residency. Adele had earlier addressed the issue via an Instagram post but eventually, nothing substantial came out of it.

A lot of Adele fans took to Twitter to ask her for an update on Las Vegas shows. Speaking of her London concert, while sharing a few BTS snaps, the 34-year-old crooner captioned the post as, “Who’s ready for tomorrow!?” Adele will be headlining the first weekend of BST at Hyde Park this week. She'll be hitting the stage on July 1, and July 2.
 
In January, a teary-eyed Adele listed the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic as the reason for the Las Vegas residency. “Hey, listen, I'm so sorry but my show ain't ready. We've tried absolutely everything we can to put it together in time and for it to be good enough for you”, said an emotional Adele adding, “But we've been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. Half my crew, half my team have been down with COVID and they still are. And it's been impossible to finish the show." She continued, “I can't give you what I have right now and I'm gutted. I'm gutted. And I'm sorry it's so last minute” concluding, “We've been awake for over 30 hours now trying to figure it out. We’ve run out of time and I’m so upset and I’m really embarrassed."

Fans dragged Adele for not taking out time for shows in Las Vegas. “Im ready for the concert in Las Vegas to happen that I already paid $3k for.  Anyword on a reschedule?” Another stated, “We are still waiting for you here at Las Vegas. You have yet to fulfill your obligation to your fans.” One shared, “Not unless you’re coming to Las Vegas! You owe your fans an update at the very least.” The next one tweeted, “Apparently not the fans who paid to see you in Las Vegas.” And, an individual concluded, “Everyone in #lasvegas hates @Adele”
