Adam Levine shocks fans with FACE tattoo: Here's the TRUTH behind the rose
Adam Levine had a surprise for his fans when he appeared at the Art Basel Party in Miami with wife Behati Prinsloo. The former 'Sexiest Man Alive' had a new rose tattoo on his head, which reportedly marked the debut of face tattoos for Adam. It is well known that Adam loves getting new tattoos and already has a lot of ink on his body. He is proud of his tattoo collection and showcases them in most of his pictures on social media.
Fans were pleasantly surprised with Adam's tattoo as it was in a completely new area of his body. The rose tattoo on the face of the frontman of Maroon 5 got fans reacting to it on Twitter. The media couldn't believe that he had experimented with his face and made it a headline. To give a better look of his tattoo to his followers, he shared a close-up picture of the rose, placed right next to his left eye, in an Instagram story. It is understood that the rose has a significant meaning in Adam's life as the name of his eldest daughter with Behati is Dusty Rose.
However, what's the truth behind this fresh ink?

After the hype was created around Adam's new tattoo, he had to post the truth behind it on Instagram. Sharing that his mother texted him to know if he actually got inked on his face, Adam shared that it wasn't a real tattoo and he would never experiment with his face.
In the story, he said, "After messages from my mother, I just want to say, I did not have a tattoo on my face." He said that the people close to him know that he loves getting inked but they also know that he is not crazy enough to get a tattoo on his face. He said he would love to get a tattoo anywhere on the rest of his body but getting inked on his face is still a big no.
However, the revelation came a little too late as the media had already made it a piece of big news without researching properly. Calling media unthoughtful, Twitter started reacting after the revelation was made. One of the users wrote, "@people u put out an article about adam levine’s face tattoo…before u even published it, he had said in his insta story that it wasnt real. Maybe do more research."
