ACMA 2019 red carpet best dressed: Kasey Musgraves and Carrie Underwood lead a dashing group of stars
Country music's biggest night took place in Las Vegas over the weekend and as you may have guessed, stars dressed to impress as they stepped on the red carpet. From lace to ombre power suits, some of the looks at this year's Academy of Country Music Awards were absolute stunners. Here are our picks for the 10 best looks from the award show's red carpet:
1. Carrie Underwood
Carrie Underwood stunned in this floor-length sequinned gown featuring a really high slit. She looked glam and fabulous and even though she didn't win Top Country Album, she definitely won brownie points for being a fashion diva.
2. Kelly Clarkson
Kelly picked a simple dress for the red carpet and pulled it off like a pro that she is. The dress is modern and feminine and super flattering to Kelly's curves and the edgy sleeves and lace detail really take the cake. She kept the rest of the look simple, reminding us, once again, why classics never go out of style.
3. Kasey Musgraves
She lands on every best-dressed list no matter what event it is and rightly so. Casey almost always takes a chance when it comes to her red carpet style. She dressed herself up in a power suit with flattering bell sleeves and flared bottoms in pastel hues. The long natural hair makes this look even more fashion forward.
4. Cassadee Pope
While most stars stick to the gowns that they know will flatter them like they always so, Pope decided to go for something edgier, clearly. This gown is risque and modern and helps Pope's washboard abs and toned hips to see the light of day. We, for one, are not complaining.
5. Chase Rice
Chase Rice worked this grey plaid suit like even better than he usually wears his baseball cap. The black accents of the loafers, the tie and the belt pull this outfit together and make him look like he's ready to climb on a billboard ad for Hugo. Seriously.
6. Sara Reeveley
Fuschia isn't for everybody but it certainly is for Sara Reeveley. Reeveley walked the carpet in this sexy bright pink gown with a navel deep neckline and a matching high slit down the front and while you and I may have been scared for our lives about a wardrobe malfunction, Sara seemed totally cool and unbothered. A white clutch, a small train and Lee Brice on her arm, she owned the carpet.
7. Reba McEntire
The host of the evening, for the whopping 16th time - you know that Reba probably has the ACMA red carpet game on point and she does. Reba looked stunning in this bejeweled black gown with a sweetheart neckline and sheer overlay.
8. Lindsay Ell
There's everything right with Lindsay Ell's neon creation. From the modern and edgy cut out to the halter neck, slit and waistline draping, this dress is a 10 on 10.
9. Kane Brown
It is easy to see Kane Brown's outfit as an overdone style, but I think it's a classic. You cannot go wrong with it and it looks absolutely dapper.
10. Carly Pearce
Carly was glowing in this simple floor-length red dress with gold accents. Although a little too plain jane for the red carpet, it looks stylish and comfortable at the same time and for that, Carly makes it to the best-dressed list
