ACM Awards 2020: Thomas Rhett, Jon Pardi deliver stellar performance of 'Beer Can't Fix' and fans are loving it
'Beer Can’t Fix', which featured on Rhett's 2019 album 'Center Point Road', has been another hit for the singer-songwriter, reaching No. 6 on the Hot Country Songs chart and No. 36 on the Hot 100
As the most nominated male artiste at the 2020 ACM Awards, Thomas Rhett had a lot to live up to during the coveted ceremony and with the help of Jon Pardi, the country superstar delivered a rousing performance of their shared hit 'Beer Can’t Fix'.
After being delayed for almost six months, the award ceremony took place in Nashville and was broadcasted from three different venues, — the Grand Ole Opry House, Nashville's historic Ryman Auditorium, and The Bluebird Cafe. The division happened in order to follow safety norms amid the Covid-19 pandemic. Sharing the stage at the Ryman Auditorium, Rhett and Pardi delivered a stellar performance. "Come on, Jon!" Rhett called, and soon the side-by-side duet was in full bloom, with even some country line dance moves during the bridge.
'Beer Can’t Fix', which featured on Rhett's 2019 album 'Center Point Road', has been another hit for the singer-songwriter, reaching No. 6 on the Hot Country Songs chart and No. 36 on the Hot 100. 'Center Point Road', which also features collaborations with Little Big Town and Kelsea Ballerini, became Rhett’s second No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 last year. Rhett has released four albums for Big Machine Records' Valory Music imprint, which have produced nineteen singles making it to the Billboard Hot Country and Country Airplay charts, with fifteen reaching the No. 1 position on the latter, which includes 'It Goes Like This', 'Get Me Some of That', 'Make Me Wanna', 'Crash and Burn', 'Die a Happy Man', 'T-Shirt', 'Star of the Show', 'Craving You', 'Unforgettable', 'Marry Me', 'Life Changes', 'Sixteen', 'Remember You Young', 'Look What God Gave Her', and 'Beer Can't Fix'.
