Kim is all set to enter the tank in the upcoming episode of 'Shark Tank' and pitch her unique solution to the Sharks. In case you're curious about Kim's solution then read on to know more.
What is Click & Carry?
Click & Carry is a tiny device with gel grip handles and a rotating top, through which you can slide in multiple bags. You can then either carry the bags or wear them over your shoulder, thanks to click & carry. Each click & carry is divided in the center with a twisting column. There are two identical side cavities to hold your bags or cargo. Its sleek design and attractive color options make it a perfect solution for carrying multiple bags at once without hurting your palms or fingers. The product's website describes it as, "With Click & Carry, you can gather and carry multiple bags at once — COMFORTABLY! You can hold Click & Carry in your hand, or you can wear it over your shoulder to be hands-free. Whether you’re dragging in your weekly groceries, bringing in 8 gallons of paint or hauling your ski boots to the mountain, you will love Click & Carry."
Who is the founder?
Kim Meckwood is the brain behind Click & Carry. Just like the rest of us, Kim too enjoys shopping but hates carrying the bags. One night she dreamt of a solution to the shopping bags dilemma and that's how 'Click & Carry' was born. She then roped in a student from Pasadena Design School to help her make a prototype of the product using a 3D printer. Once she was happy with the design, she not only got it patented, but also began manufacturing and selling the product. Her background in medical sales helped her in pushing the product to consumers. But after being diagnosed with cancer, Kim had to put Click & Carry on the backburner for a while, until she beat cancer. Kim is now more determined than ever to make her product a raging success.
What is the cost?
You can get your very own Click & Carry for just $11.99 each and a pack of two for $19.99.
Where to buy?
You can get your Click & Carry either from The Container Store, QVC, Ralphs, or ShopRite. You can even buy it online from here.
Who will crack the deal?
The Queen of QVC aka Lori Greiner might close the deal on this one, although Barbara Corcoran too might give Lori a run for her money. We will just have to watch the show to see which Shark eventually gets the deal, for there's no telling with the Sharks.
'Shark Tank' Season 12 airs every Friday at 8/7c only on ABC.
