NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Abby Grossberg, the Fox News booking producer who sued Tucker Carlson last month, has expressed joy over his sudden termination, citing that he had made her life "a living hell." Grossberg, who was fired by Fox after she filed two lawsuits against the network, revealed that Carlson and his executive producer, Justin Wells, were the ones who were "responsible for breaking" her. Grossberg had accused Carlson and Fox News of sexism and harassment, alleging that misogyny was rampant in the workplace of his primetime show 'Tucker Carlson Tonight'.

Grossberg expressed a mix of emotions upon learning of Carlson's sudden firing on Monday, April 24. "There were feelings first of 'Yes!' and then also the reality that you don’t want anything bad to happen to anybody," she said. "But at the same time, Tucker and his executive producer Justin Wells, who was also fired, really were responsible for breaking me and making my life a living hell. So there is a feeling of justice, but it’s only partial," as per Daily Mail.

Initially, Grossberg was excited to join Carlson's show as it was a promotion from her previous job with Maria Bartiromo. During the interview process, she reportedly had a positive impression of Carlson's staff and hoped that there was more to Carlson than what was portrayed on television. "I was hoping that it would be more professional, and what he was portraying on air was just a show, and unfortunately that wasn’t the case," Grossberg said.

Who is Abby Grossberg?

Abby Grossberg is a popular journalist, media personality, and public figure. She started her media career in 2007 as an associate producer at CNN after graduating from Maryland's John Hopkins University in 2003. She later worked at Fox for an undisclosed period before returning to CNN as a producer from 2011 to 2015. Grossberg then went back to Fox News, where she worked until her termination in 2023. Grossberg, who filed two lawsuits against the media company, is currently offering her services as a freelance media professional on Staff Me Up.

Abby Grossberg filed two lawsuits against Fox News

According to Grossberg's first lawsuit, she alleges that Carlson created a hostile work environment in which his top producers would frequently use vulgar language to describe women and make anti-Semitic comments. She alleges that a senior producer named Alexander McCaskill created a "preposterous Christmas" display in the booking area despite knowing that she was Jewish, as per the outlet. McCaskill also allegedly harassed another Jewish employee for purchasing lunch from Breads Bakery, which he referred to as the "Jew bakery." Additionally, Grossberg claims that Carlson's producers, including Wells, selected female guests based on their appearance and made inappropriate comments about their female colleagues while planning the show. She also claims to have seen photographs of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in a swimsuit displayed around the office.

Grossberg's second lawsuit focuses on how Fox News lawyers allegedly coerced her into presenting false testimony regarding the Dominion Voting lawsuit. The lawsuit alleges that Grossberg's termination from Fox News was related to this issue. Dominion Voting Systems had accused Tucker Carlson of misleading viewers by claiming that the 2020 US election had been rigged. According to Grossberg's lawyers, Fox News lawyers pressured her to testify in the company's favor, leading her to present misleading testimony.

A Fox News spokesperson told that the network "will continue to vigorously defend Fox against Ms. Grossberg’s unmeritorious legal claims, which are riddled with false allegations against Fox and our employees, as per the NY Times.
