Aaron Carter’s $550K real estate to be inherited by 1-year-old son Prince Carter as singer left no will
LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA: Aaron Carter's family has decided that his estate will be inherited by his only son after the singer died without a will last month. According to Aaron's mom Jane Carter, the family wants to ensure that 1-year-old Prince is taken care of as he grows up. Aaron has left behind an estimated worth of $550K in real estate and personal possessions.
Jane believes that letting her grandson inherit his father's assets with help avoid any legal issues. She told TMZ that Aaron would have wanted everything to go to his son and that the family doesn't actually need the money. She continues that the family, however, truly wishes to have a relationship with Prince and Aaron's on-and-off fiancee Melanie Martin, both of whom she hasn't met yet.

Aaron Carter’s ashes to be scattered off Florida Keys along with those of late sister Leslie
Meanwhile, Martin told US Weekly that she didn't want any "bad blood" with Aaron's family after it was confirmed that she would not be asked to spread Aaron's ashes in the Florida Keys this spring. She highlighted that her primary worry was the well-being of their son.“I don’t want any problems or stress over Aaron’s estate,” Martin said. “I just want Prince to be taken care of and want Aaron’s legacy to live on.” The Bulgaria native added, “I don’t want any bad blood with Aaron’s family. Whoever wants to be in Prince’s life can be in Prince’s life.” Martin is reportedly going to have her own memorial for Aaron with her family, their son Prince and some of Aaron’s true friends, reported Aol.
Martin spoke candidly about her hopes for the future with Aaron a few days after the 'That's How I Beat Shaq' performer died. “I was really looking forward to getting married and having more children with him,” She added, “I feel like we were very close and I was looking forward to spending the holidays with my family again. I am beyond devastated waiting until I can meet my wonderful soulmate again. We never gave up on our love and I feel like we both couldn’t live without each other.”
Aaron, 34, was discovered dead on November 5 at his California home. According to his death certificate, his twin sister Angel Carter will keep the former child star's ashes, and last week she also submitted a petition to be Aaron's estate administrator. The legal document stated "deferred" rather than listing Aaron's cause of death. Additional tests are being performed to determine how he died.
