'I miss this so much': Melanie Martin shares Aaron Carter's last photo where she's seen cuddling him
LANCASTER, CALIFORNIA: Almost a month after Aaron Carter was found dead by his housekeeper in his home, his on-and-off fiancée Melanie Martin has shared a sweet photo of his that she says was the last one he took. Martin, who shares her one-year-old son Prince with the deceased Carter, posted the photo on her Instagram stories.
In the photo, the late singer seemed very happy and at ease as he held up the camera for a selfie. His head is cushioned in pillows and Martin had her hands on his chest while resting on him. He seems quite amused in the photo and the pink-hued shot has brought smiles to a lot of people who have been trying to get over the singer’s sudden death.

Yahoo!News reports that the picture was accompanied by a sweet note by the singer’s ex-fiancee, where she said, “October 29th, last pic he took – I was always passed out on him like this – he let me sleep on him instead of pillows I miss this so much." The caption is a clear indication of how Melanie is still mourning the unexpected loss of her longtime partner.
As far as the current situation is concerned, it seems that the Carter family has finally reached a conclusion as to how Aaron’s remains will be put to rest. His mother Jane has said that Aaron’s cremated ashes will be spread in their native state Florida. It will be done so as to let his ashes be spread in the same area that his sister Leslie’s was. It is said that Carter’s ashes will be spread sometime in the upcoming Spring and interestingly Martin will not be there for the ceremony.
TMZ has reported that as of now the ashes remain with Carter’s twin sister Angel; he was cremated immediately after his body was found. As far as Leslie’s ashes are concerned, her husband Mike has kept it safe for it to be spread when the time comes.
Along with Carter's body, cans of compressed air were also found in his Lancaster house. Carter had openly admitted to having substance abuse problems and an addiction to huffing. It has also been reported that the singer had died without a will, despite many pushes to get him to create one. This has allegedly led to a war between his family and Martin, who would probably want to procure Aaron’s property for their son.
