Can a mini-movie shatter all TV viewership records? Lifetime's latest flick ‘A Recipe For Seduction’ could probably be one to do so. The KFC collaboration — that stars Mario Lopez as Harland Sanders and Justene Alpert as Jessica Mancera — has got tongues wagging and fans can't seem to get enough of the movie.

“As the holidays near, an heiress contends with the affections of a suitor handpicked by her mother. When the handsome chef arrives with his secret recipe and a dream, he sets in motion a series of events that unravel the mother’s devious plans. Will our plucky heiress escape to her wintry happily ever after with Harland at her side, or will she cave to the demands of family and duty?” the official synopsis of the movie reads.

After watching the movie, one question seems to be on everyone's minds: Is there a Part Two and when will it release?

"A Recipe for Seduction was such greatness. We deserve a sequel!" one fan said and another wrote, "A Recipe For Seduction was the best movie of 2020 and I love that they left it open for a sequel." A third posted, "#ARecipeForSeduction sequel hype is real."

A fourth went on to say: "That was the best thing ever!!! It's every Lifetime movie broken down to 15 minutes and it was glorious. We need a part 2 #ARecipeForSeduction #Lifetime."

Many even thought all Lifetime movies need to be this short. "Utterly ridiculous but I totally enjoyed it...and what a great ending! #ARecipeForSeduction," one tweet read and another said, "Lifetime needs to make more movies like this! Short simple and to the point #ARecipeForSeduction."

The buzz about the film was so strong on social media that KFC was forced to tweet: "It worked!" Well, they're right, aren't they?

Also starring Tessa Munro as Bunny Mancera, Chad Doreck as Billy Garibaldi III, Martin Morrow as Lee, Emily Lemons as Nurse, the film was conceptualized in 2018 but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The 15-minute short movie was written and directed by Eric Eckelman, Armand Prisco and Natalie Prisco. Although there has been no announcement of a sequel, the final scene sure hints at the possibility of a second part. We will update this space with the latest news soon.

‘A Recipe For Seduction’ premiered on December 13 at 12 pm ET on Lifetime. Catch it on the Lifetime channel over at Hulu + Live TV, YouTube TV, FuboTV, Philo, or Sling TV.

After it premieres, you can watch it on Lifetime’s holiday section by tuning into Lifetime apps or on VOD platforms.
