Spoilers for 'A Million Little Things' Season 3 Episode 2 titled 'Writings on the Wall'

After Reverend Stewart (Gerard Plunkett) hit Eddie Saville (David Giuntoli) with his red pickup truck last season, is now getting closer. During the premiere episode, he watched Eddie and Katherine (Grace Park) exchange their news vows in front of their closest friends. As he saw them from a distance, he confused fans about his intentions. And in the lastest episode, he showed up at the Saville House without notice, with Theo (Tristan Byon) present. What does this old man want to do with Eddie springing out of the blue after all this time? Does he want revenge for the death of his daughter Alex, for which he clearly holds Eddie responsible? Or does the Reverend want to confront Eddie? Perhaps he wants to confess? Will we find out in Episode 3 'Letting Go'?

At the end of Episode 2 of 'A Million Little Things', Stewart shows up at Eddie's house late in the night. When Theo goes to open the door, he stands there speechless as this giant man towers over him. Stewart doesn't say anything when he sees Theo. When Katherine shows up from inside the house, all he says is along the lines of "that's a nice kid you got there, make sure to spend as much time with him as possible, before it is too late".

This is not a cryptic message. Especially not for Eddie. And if he looks close enough, he will find clues to his past. So what he must do right now is to jump into investigating what went down that night and save himself and his family any more danger. Stewart had hit Eddie with his truck and then, some months later, shows up at his doorstep to do who knows what. He is probably very overwhelmed at the current situation, which means it might not be out of character for him to lash out and do something rash.

Before Eddie unknowingly invites the worst for himself and his family, he should buck up. What will Stewart do next?

'A Million Little Things' airs on Thursdays at 10 pm ET /PT on ABC.
