'A Million Little Things' Episode 14: Has Derek found Eve in Boston as well? Will Eve find any peace?

When Eve (Ebboney Wilson) got pregnant, she decided she had to leave Derek if she wished to save her life and the life of her unborn child. Escaping the violent, heartbreaking abuse she faced at the hands of Derek in their relationship, Eve fled Philly and arrived in Boston to begin afresh. Working at a small diner, she eventually put up her unborn child for adoption - else Derek would have used the baby to stay connected with her forever. And that is how she met Rome and Regina Howard (Romany Malco and Christina Moses), who might adopt Eve's child.
Derek isn't shown in the series yet. But perhaps he might be making an appearance in the upcoming episode.
In a promo released by the network, Eve, Rome and Regina are driving back from Eve's sonography - where the latter notes that her unborn baby is lucky to have found parents in Rome and Regina - when she spots Derek's car right outside her diner. Now threatened and scared for her life, Eve makes the snap decision that she must flee Boston too before Derek locates her and poses a threat to her or the baby. With a dangerous past behind her, will Eve manage to find any peace in Boston?
According to the official synopsis of the upcoming episode, "Rome and Regina continue to try and protect their potential birth mother from her past". Now threatened by her violent ex-boyfriend, Rome and Regina offer the much-needed help she requires to get away from her past. With the synopsis suggesting that the Howards offer their resources to her, Eve might be in safe hands, even if she doesn't know it yet. Regina might also seek help from her women's shelter.
With help coming in from surprising avenues, will Eve feel at ease?
