This story contains major spoilers for 'A Million Little Things' Episode 10 titled 'The Kiss'

After stretching it for weeks, Delilah Dixon (Stephanie Szostak) finally told the Dixon kids Sophie (Lizzy Greene) and Danny (Chance Hurstfield) the truth about Charlie's true identity.

We knew it wasn't something that the kids were going to simply take at face value, which is proved by Sophie going to Eddie's (Saville, played by David Giuntoli) house and breaking his guitars. And while her reaction cannot be fully justified, one can understand why she would do it.

Yet three months since Delilah broke the news, her anger has in no way subsided. She continues to foster negative feelings for her mother and rebels against her every chance she gets.

Sophie doesn't speak to Delilah properly. She neglects her presence, defies her openly, refusing to stick to her curfew not coming to the dinner table to eat breakfast with the whole family.

She goes as far as to even blame Delilah for the suicide of their father when the truth is that Jon killed himself (partly) because of survivor's guilt.

Sophie refuses to even give Delilah the opportunity to talk — not interested to know why and how the affair happened and why Charlie's identity was kept a secret the whole time. Perhaps if she talks to her, some of her anger could be dealt with.

Danny is supposed to have the opening night of his 'Grease' musical performance, and Sophie is so driven by anger that she refuses to come to the opening night.

No amount of convincing from Delilah is going to prompt her to make it to the performance. While she shows up later, she only does so because of Regina (Howard, Christina Moses), who manages to convince her and get her along in time for the show — not because Delilah had been desperately asking her to make it.

At the same time, Danny, like the genuinely mature soul that he is, understands both the ladies and the space they are coming from. He is not angry with Delilah neither is he enabling Sophie's rebellious acts — he is simply there offering all the love and support they would require.

Elsewhere, the situation at Eddie's house is not the same. His son Theo (Tristan Byon) seems to love to have Charlie around and his relationship with his parents seems undeterred since the reveal.

As much as we sympathize with Sophie and her feelings, three months is an awfully long time to hold on to so much anger and negative feelings. For her own good, before this threatens to make some permanent damage to her other relationships, Sophie should talk to her mother.

'A Million Little Things' airs on ABC on Thursdays at 10/ 9c.
