'90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way': Jenny questions Sumit's loyalty after he fails to show his divorce papers
Sumit and Jenny have fought hard for their relationship but the state in which their relationship is at present, Jenny's family fears that Sumit is not being loyal again. Sumit and Jenny met each other online and even though he had been catfishing her, he managed to come clean about his identity once they started having feelings for each other.
In the previous season of the show, Jenny had decided to leave everything behind in the US in a bid to start a new life with Sumit in India. While she thought she had found her happily ever after, she was shocked to find out that Sumit had been married. Jenny got to hear this bad news when she was waiting for him at their apartment and his in-laws showed up at their door.
While one would think an incident such as this would be enough to break them apart, the pair managed to stick together as Sumit filed for divorce. Jenny made it clear that she would be coming back to India only if he ended his previous marriage. Sumit agreed and decided to file for divorce. However, up until now, Jenny has not seen the paperwork. Jenny's children were concerned that Sumit might be lying again as they had not seen any proof of the divorce papers being filed. Jenny decided to bring up this topic as the two sat down to have tea. Jenny made it clear that this time things were different as she would leave if she is lied to again.
She further added that her family had been asking questions and she wanted proof of the divorce for herself and her family. Jenny made it clear that she sees a lot of troubles ahead if Sumit fails to show her the paperwork. Hearing Jenny constantly question him about the paperwork, Sumit admitted that he was annoyed.
To make sure that Jenny did not question his decision, he tried to explain to her that in India, divorce was a long process. He further added that he would take Jenny to the courthouse to show where they stood in the process. Jenny felt better but their conversation had already put a strain on their relationship. Will the pair manage to get through this?
