Geoffrey Paschel's ex-wife has accused the reality star of reselling prescription opiates. This is Paschel's third divorce. The two were married for nearly five years when they welcomed their son. However, the pair decided to separate soon after as their marriage lasted for less than two years after they welcomed their son.

Paschel's ex-wife had stated "inappropriate marital conduct" as the reason for their divorce. After the divorce Paschel was living in Tennessee while his ex-wife relocated to Florida and the pair were sharing child custody at this point. Later, his ex-wife married a man who was in the US Army and settled in Seattle.

His ex-wife filed a court document stating that she would be relocating after marriage. However, Paschel was not pleased to hear this and in turn filed another court document claiming that this move violated their initial agreement and on that basis, he asked for the sole custody of his child, as reported by Starcasm.

Despite years of negotiations, the two have not been able to reach an understanding. One of the main concerns of his ex-wife is the safety of her son under Paschel's care.

When the couple had initially signed a child custody agreement, the judge had asked Paschel to sign an HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) which stated that "shall entitle mother to all of father’s medical and prescription records from any source, including but not limited to his prescriptions for opiate medication. Father shall provide mother with a list of all his prescribing doctors, pain clinics and the pharmacies where he fills his prescriptions."

It further adds that if Paschel is taking prescription medicine, then his ex-wife has the right to take his hair follicles to make sure that he is taking the prescribed medicine. The ex-wife claimed that she had stated this in her agreement to ensure that he "was no longer selling opiate medication".

However, Paschel refused to sign this agreement. Later, his ex-wife filed another complaint stating that she wanted to have the custody of their child as he refused to sign the HIPAA and added, "Plaintiff has learned from a third party that defendant is currently selling opiate medication."

Even a year after the filing, the custody battle still continues as the two have not been able to reach an understanding and neither has Paschel given up.
