Super Bowl LVI: Fans call halftime show 'best ever' as Eminem and friends rock stage

Millions tune in to watch the Super Bowl every year and they get really excited if their favorite team is a part of it. This year, at the Super Bowl LVI, Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams are going up against each other to win the prestigious trophy. However, more than the game, everyone was waiting for the Pepsi Super Bowl halftime performance by some of the biggest names from the music industry.

This year, Hip Hop and Rap dominated the stage as Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, and Kendrick Lamar lit up the SoFi Stadium with one of the most extraordinary halftime performances in recent years. The musicians sang some of their most iconic songs from the stage, including ‘Lose Yourself’, ‘In Da Club’, ‘Family Affair’, and ‘California Love’. Although fans believed that the performance was a bit short and wanted more, but as soon as the musicians took the stage, fans knew that something special was coming their way and they weren’t disappointed.

Fans flooded social media with amazing reactions and called it the “best half-time show ever.” One of the fans wrote, “Incredible halftime show. Just flawless. They’ll never top this one.” Another fan noted, “@SuperBowl 2022's Halftime Was The Best Thing I've Seen on TV in a Very Long Time.” Another fan wrote, “THE GREATEST HIP HOP PERFORMANCE EVER.”

“Superb performance for the Super Bowl halftime show this year. To be fair, it's the only one I've ever really cared about since I love old-school hip hop, but still was a great thing to sit back and watch. What a great ode to hip hop as a music form. Eminem stole the show, duh,” wrote another fan.

Another fan wrote, “Holy shit that halftime show. #SuperBowl that was unbelievable.” Meanwhile, one of the fans compared this halftime show with Prince’s performance and said, “I've always said Prince was the greatest Super Bowl halftime show ever, playing "Purple Rain" in the rain at Miami. But what I just witnessed rivaled Prince.” Another one wrote, “I speak for EVERYONE when I say this is the BEST halftime show of all time.”

“This was the best halftime show I’ve seen it wasn’t too extra it was thoughtful, collaborated perfectly, and had me hype,” wrote another one.

It will be interesting to see how many people tuned in to watch the halftime show this year and how much this performance will help the musicians in increasing the sales of their songs. Every year, the musicians, who perform at the Super Bowl halftime show, see an extraordinary jump in music sales.
