Super Bowl LVI: Fans hail Mickey Guyton's rendition of National Anthem as 'stirring'
It’s the Super Bowl weekend and people are rooting for their favorite teams to win the highly popular event. Super Bowl is one of the most-watched sporting events in the world and always takes up the excitement of an NFL game to a whole new level. This year, the Cincinnati Bengals and Los Angeles Rams are going against each other to win the Super Bowl LVI.
The Super Bown LVI game is being played at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. As a ritual, the national anthem of the United States is sung before the game starts and it was country singer Mickey Guyton taking the stage this year for an amazing performance.
The four-time Grammy nominee donned a beautiful blue gown for the occasion and when she started singing, people couldn’t stop praising the musician for a beautiful rendition of the national anthem. She was joined by a chorus, dressed all in white, for the rousing rendition of the anthem. Also, we finally got to know this year’s performance was 1 minute, 51 seconds long.
Social media was lit up after the performance and said that this is undoubtedly one of the best versions of the national anthem that they have heard in a long, long time.
One of the fans said that this was one of the greatest performances of the National Anthem he has ever heard. “Omg! That was one of the greatest performances of the National Anthem I’ve ever heard.” Another fan wrote, “There’s nothing more stirring, nothing that gives me the chills more than a knock-out national before a big game. And man, Mickey Guyton just crushed it.”
Another social media user said, “Sweet Mickey, your rendition of the National Anthem left me with chill bumps, a lump in my throat, and tears in my eyes. I was so moved!! That was one of the BEST renditions in history.” Meanwhile, another user wrote, “God damn, Mickey Guyton just performed the best version of the national anthem I’ve ever heard.”

Guyton is one of the lucky few country artists who have gotten the chance to sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl. Country musicians like Charley Pride, Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, The Chicks, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, and Eric Church with Jazmine Sullivan have previously sung the national anthem during one of the biggest sporting events in the world.
