2021 'New Year Eve's Live' full list of performers: BTS, TXT, Enhypen, Halsey and more to perform in Weverse concert

For BTS Army all over the world, New Year’s Eve will be extra special as the live concert ‘2021 New Year Eve's Live’ will not just include the Grammy-nominated K-pop group BTS but also Big Hit entertainment’s 4th generation K-pop stars TXT, GFriend, rookie group Enhypen and a connect stage featuring pop queen Halsey, Steve Aoki, Lauv and more. Here’s all you need to know about the performers.

The grand concert which is set to take place on December 31, 2020, at 9.30 pm KST, promises a never before seen line-up including Pledis Entertainment’s supergroup NU’EST, K-pop soloist BUMZU, ‘You Are The Best of My Life’ singer Lee Hyun along with Big Hit’s K-pop groups. Not just that, the concert will also present a ‘Connect’ stage through which fans will get to see some exclusive performances of their favorite artistes including Halsey.

‘2021 New Year Eve's Live’ presented by Weverse was originally planned to be an online plus offline concert but given the rise of Covid-19 cases in South Korea, the Entertainment mogul decided to change the format and make it exclusive virtual. Tickets for the event are currently available through Weverse.

To get the best of the New Year’s Live concert, Weverse also offers a number of different types of camera view. For exclusive BTS Army membership holders or memberships of any of these groups, GFRIEND, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, or ENHYPEN, a limited 4k single view + HD multi-view up to 6 is also available on the site.

For others, HD multiview with 4 concert screens and 2 Online ‘Meet & Greet’ screens on a live stream, HD Multi-view 4 with 4 concert screens and a limited booking of HD single view screen are available.

BTS have been teasing their fans with what to expect from the concert. In one of the teaser videos, BTS members hinted at what songs will they perform in the NYEL stage where BTS aka Kim Taehyung said, one of the songs that they will perform was released this year. Well. for BTS, they have released two full albums ‘Map of the Soul: 7’ and ‘BE’, a number of singles, a remix of ‘Savage Love’, plus members’ individual releases.

Recently BTS rapper Suga aka Min Yoongi who was on a short hiatus following a shoulder surgery has also notified his fans through a Vlive that he will be participating in the concert as well. Though he will not be performing complex choreographies following the doctor’s advice, he will be seen on the vocal stages with BTS members.

Here’s what the worldwide fandom has been buzzing about the event. From expecting various songs to speculating collaboration stages, K-pop fans have a lot to look forward to on December 31. A BTS Army said, “Y'ALL REALIZE WE ARE SO CLOSE TO HAVING SUGA'S INTERLUDE STAGE!??!????” referring to ‘Suga’s Interlude’, a track which featured in Halsey’s album ‘Manic’.

Another fan speculated, “they dropped a hint om their nyel q &a on youtube!! And everybody guessed they said “byeong” and byeong is dis-ease JKDKDKSJ.’’ Another said, “I think that the performance spoiler that given by BTS the spoiler for 2021 NYEL is Dynamite bcs the spoiler was 'BANG!' and Tae spoilt it released this year.”

A user said, “You know what I want in NYEL are: - All artists collab, Jin x Soobin x Yerin as MC, All artists interactions, BTS x GFRIEND collab, GFRIEND x TXT collab, TXT x Enhypen collab, Family photo.” A Nu’est fan wrote, “Suddenly so excited (for) NYEL.”
