2020 MBC Music Festival ‘Gayo Daejejeon: The Moment’: Who is part of the line-up? Date, time, how to live stream and all you need to know

MBC music festival is set to end the year right on December 31 with a grand lineup of K-pop supergroups. Titled as ‘MBC Gayo Daejejeon: The Moment’, the annual music festival will showcase some of the best artists of 2020 with a unique line-up of performers. MBC Gayo Daejejeon is one of the oldest music fests in South Korea. Originally, in 1966 MBC Gayo started as a music competition but since 2005, MBC has stopped giving awards and only hold the show as a celebration of music and more.
From global K-pop sensation NCT, Stray Kids to Mamamoo, Twice, the MBC music festival is gearing up for a spectacular evening of K-pop bops. Date, time, the complete performers' list, where to live stream, we have you covered.
Hosts
This year, MBC Gayo Daejejeon will be hosted by the popular K-pop girl group Girl’s Generation’s YoonA, Jang Sung-kyu and Kim Seon-ho.
The music festival will also feature quite a few premiering performances that haven’t been seen before. Jyp’s Park Jin-young and Rain will come together to sing their new track ‘Switch To Me’ for the first time. Plus, the winner of the 2019 reality television show ‘Miss Trot’, Song Ga In will join Canadian K-pop singer/actor Henry Lau for an exclusive performance. Two super popular girl group Twice and Iz*one are also rumored to have a collab stage on MBC. Another fan update suggests Iz*one could have a shared stage with Itzy.
However, this year, the MBC music festival will miss the presence of Grammy-nominated Kpop group BTS and other Big Hit’s groups like TXT, GFriend, and Pledis Entertainment’s Nu’est who all will be performing in the Weverse New Year’s Live concert on the same day.
Date and time
