Everybody is gearing up for the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards ceremony, which will air on January 26 night. Now that music's biggest night is just one long weekend away, the preparation levels are already reaching a fever pitch at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

In addition to the many performance rehearsals and elaborate set preparations, we know that one of the biggest tasks for the organizing committee will be to determine who actually gets to sit next to each other on the historical night.

Considering that hundreds of celebrity artistes will be attending, a lot of thought and planning goes into these seating arrangements. Some of the high profile names who will be turning up for the awards ceremony are superstars such as Lizzo, BTS, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Ariana Grande, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and the Jonas Brothers.

We now have a picture proof of the initial seating plans.

The CBS network that will live broadcast the 2020 Grammy Awards, recently released photos of the seating cards. So we do now know who will sit next to whom, and perhaps get a chance to chit-chat and socialize during the nearly three-hour ceremony.

Of course, it is not a given that this will be the final seating layout. Some of these are probably just temporary, considering that a plethora of artistes will be moving around during the show, especially if they are expected to take the stage for performances, presentations or speeches.

And there is so much to glean from those photos. We know that Tyler, The Creator, will sit behind Swae Lee, that Dua Lipa will be sandwiched between rappers Nas and Meek Mill, and that 'The Voice' power couple Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani will be a touching distance away from another power couple — Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne. But probably, the biggest story of the night is the fact that Jay Z and Beyoncé will be sitting one row ahead of the K-pop icons BTS. This discovery has the Twitterverse already exploding.

K-pop fans are going hysterical thinking about what might happen on the night.

"Hold on....SO BTS ARE GONNA SIT BEHIND BEYONCE IN THE GRAMMYS??? JIMIN WILL FINALLY MEET HIS INDUSTRY-WISE MOM??? WE GONNA GET CLOSE BTS×BEYONCE INTERACTIONS??? I'M SCREAMING," wrote one ecstatic fan.

"BEYONCÉ AND BTS BETTER POST A PIC TOGETHER" declared another excited BTS Army cadet.

Another fan unable to contain themselves said, "If I see Beyoncé smile at Joon I think I might collapse." Yet another follower confessed her love for both the artistes: "I used to say that the only concert I will go to, just for the experience, was gonna be Beyonce’s. Then BTS came along and guess whose concert was my first? #BTS!!! Can’t wait to see them interact."

We can't wait to see what unfolds on the Grammys night either! Make sure you are watching on Sunday night at 8pm ET / 5pm PT.
