The 54th Annual Country Music Association Awards is officially underway. Being held in front of a socially distanced live audience with all the country stars present under one roof after a long time, the show kicked off with the performance of Brothers Osborne and Dierks Bentley paying tribute to Charlie Daniels. But what became a topic of discussion was Bentley's new hairstyle. The singer, known for his golden curls, was sporting much longer hair when he took the stage at the 2020 CMA Awards. Fans on Twitter noticed the change in Bently's appearance and drew similarities between him and the fictional 'The Walking Dead' lead character Rick Grimes which was been played by actor Andrew Lincoln.
One fan, comparing Bentley to Grimes, tweeted, "Is that Dierks Bentley or Rick Grimes?" while another said, "Dierks Bentley looking like Rick Grimes off 'The Walking Dead' #CMAawards."
