2020 Billboard Music Awards: Post Malone performs 'Circles', fans call it auto-tuned with 'horrible lip-sync'
Post Malone is surely in the best phase of his career as he has scored a total 16 nominations at the 2020 Billboard Music Awards, the most by any artist this year. Apart from being nominated, the American singer-songwriter also performed his number-one hit single ‘Circles’ at the coveted award show along with the rapper Tyla Yaweh.
The 25-year-old multiple award-wining record producer looked dapper in his buzz cut and semi-gothic look. The official account of the music awards also tweeted about his performance with a GIF and captioned it as, “Can't get over how amazing @PostMalone and @TylaYaweh's #BBMAs performance was.”

The official Twitter account of Billboard Music Awards might have praised the singer’s performance but the fans had a different opinion altogether. A lot of social media users slammed the singer for bad lip-syncing and for using autotune. One user said, “Why is post malone lip syncing so baaaad???” Another fan bashed the singer for his bad lip-syncing and said, “It would have been fantastic if they did not lip sync! They both can sing to the heavens! They really should have sang.” Another user added, “The set was amazing and so was the performance. But, y’all did him wrong with that auto tune.”
One individual said, “Horrible lip sync.” For a change, one user liked the singer’s performance tweeting: "Literally watching mnet performances on youtube while the bbma are in the background bc most of the performances have been snooze. post malones was cool tho.”
