Rapper 2 Chainz is putting out more music than ever. Even after dropping a collaborative album ‘No Face No Case’ with the group called T.R.U (The Real University) in February 2020, and one album in March 2019 titled ‘Rap or Go to the League’, the American rapper is all set to drop his brand new album titled ‘So Help Me God’.

The 43-year-old rapper had announced his new release via his official Twitter account on August 17, 2020. He posted a series of his photos and captioned them as, “SO HELP ME GOD SEPT. 25.”

The award-winning artiste had also shared a few photos on his official Instagram account after the announcement and had captioned one of the pics as, "I use the blood for my armor, if you have done what I did you couldn’t believe in karma” which we are assuming can be the lyrics from one of the songs from his new studio album.

Interestingly, the name of the album ‘So Help Me God’ was supposed to be the name of Kanye West’s seventh album. However, he later scrapped the name and went with ‘The Life of Pablo’.

Release Date

‘So Help Me God’ will release on September 25 via Def Jam Recordings. This will be 2 Chainz's sixth studio album and is a follow-up of his 2019 full-length album ‘Rap or Go to the League.’

Concept

2 Chainz has not yet divulged any details about his new project. Talking about the album while making an appearance on ‘The Breakfast Club’ via video call last month, 2 Chainz simply mentioned, “New album ‘So Help Me God’ is on its way. I am also doing ‘ColleGrove’ simultaneously and want to drop it in the same year.”

There is no news of an official press release as well. In fact, 2 Chainz has still not shared the official album art on any of his official social media accounts.

Tracklist

As mentioned above, 2 Chainz has not shared any major information about the album. This also goes for the tracklist. However, three singles from the album namely ‘Devil Just Trying to Be Seen’ featuring Skooly, ‘Dead Man Walking’ featuring Future and ‘NO TV’ have already been released.

It is also being reported that his brand new single ‘Money Maker’ featuring Lil Wayne might also make it to the album. Sadly, we will have to wait for the album to release in order to know the full tracklist. Watch this space for more as MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) will keep you posted.

Where to Stream

Fans will be able to plug into ‘So Help Me God’ on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Bandcamp and YouTube.
