Tammy and Amy Slaton took on the task of losing weight as the sisters thought it was high time they took matters under their control. After meeting Dr Charles Procter, Amy and Tammy were advised to start exercising to make sure that they start shedding some weight. One of his suggestions to the sisters was to start going swimming as both of them found it hard to walk for a long period of time.

While both of them seemed happy about this idea, Tammy found herself sitting on the poolside after she realized that there are stairs to go to the pool area. Tammy made it clear that she would not be going down the stairs and Amy thought that Tammy was using this as an excuse and not ready to try anything.

While Amy had a fun time swimming, the next step on their list was to get rid of all the junk foods. Even though Amy was happy to throw out all the things, Tammy found it hard to say goodbye. Meanwhile, Amy decided to join the gym to make sure that she stays on her weight-loss journey.

Amy seemed excited to get things started but she wasn't pleased to find out that Tammy was not putting in an effort. When Amy asked Tammy if she would like to join her in the gym, Tammy denied saying she will not be able to. This did not make Amy happy as she thought Tammy needs to start pushing herself if she wanted to lose some weight.

While Amy headed to the gym, Tammy stayed back at home. Amy felt sad that she was not able to go on the weight-loss journey with Tammy because there were times when she would refuse to work out. Even though the sisters wanted to be in this together, it seemed like Amy was more committed than Tammy.

'1000-lb Sisters' airs on Wednesdays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
