'1000-lb Best Friends': Jakie slammed as the 'devil' for enabling Vannessa's eating habits

Vannessa opened up that each time she tries to get healthy, her sister Jakie begins to supply her with junk food

Losing weight is not always easy, especially for those with acute eating disorders. For Vannessa Cross of '1000-lb Best Friends', who has a bad relationship with food, she is now determined to fix the issue in order to live a longer live and set a better example for her children.

With her older son Jacob being overweight, Vannessa is starting to feel the pressure of her bad choices. While she wants to make a change, she opens up to her friends Meghan, Tina and Ashely about the hardships she faces.

Vannessa currently stays with Jakie, her sister. She noted that Jakie often brings junk food whenever Vannessa goes on a diet, leading the group to think that she enables Vannessa to have her around, creating a co-dependent relationship. As if on cue, Jakie brought home a carb and heavy sugar breakfast the next day, insisting Vannessa eat it. However, Vannessa refused, explaining that junk food was like drugs and she needed to keep away. Jakie argued that she didn't see the problem and saw junk food as the solution, as Vannessa often got crabby on diets and foods like donuts reversed that effect. Even though Vannessa stated that Jakie was "killing her" with this food, Jakie paid no attention.

Fans immediately came for Jakie's appearance, making comments on how they suspected that she allegedly abused drugs. "Jackie get off the meth. Leave your sister alone and sit your ass down somewhere #1000lbBestFriends" tweeted a fan. "Oooo she's giving me old meth vibes…. I'm sorry I'm not trying to be mean I promise #1000lbBestFriends" added another. "Does Jackie not gain weight because of her daily allotment of meth? Or is she just one of those people that just looks like a meth head? #1000lbBestFriends" tweeted a fan. 

"I definitely think Vanessa sister is on drugs or something. #1000lbBestFriends" stated a fan. "Ok I see now that sister Jackie is the devil, but Vanessa still needs to resist the temptations #1000lbBestFriends" added another. 

Others called her out on being a bad sister, seeing that Vannessa was trying desperately to change her lifestyle.  "Jackie needs to act like she got some sense to help her sister Vanessa because of the food she brings is not a good move bring some food that's healthy and safe so she can lose weight #1000lbBestFriends" said a fan. "Is she on something??? Your sister is going to die. Her belly is almost on the floor and you want her to eat a donut?!?!?#1000lbBestFriends" added another. "Just because you're related by blood doesn't mean you're family. Clearly, your sister does not love you or cares about your well being. #1000lbBestFriends" agreed a fan. "vannessa's sister needs to understand that vannessa is addicted to food, and that buying foods she likes while she's on the diet is NOT helpful or supportive #1000lbBestFriends" noted another.
