LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Zendaya is living the dream! Zendaya, who has been roped in as the latest brand ambassador for the Parisian fashion giant Louis Vuitton, has been reminiscing about her growing-up years when she was surrounded by LV campaigns.

In a recent interview with Vogue, the ‘Euphoria’ star recalled, “I remember growing up around LV campaigns.” However, she has a clear favorite, it is none other than the iconic Naomi Campbell advert from the 2000s. The ‘Dune’ star said, “There was this one that I loved from the early 2000s of Naomi Campbell, and she’s like sprawled out over a trunk.”

The smitten 26-year-old heartthrob could not help but fangirl about the supermodel as she said, “I can still see it. I can see the image in my head and I remember seeing it in magazines as a kid.”

Talking about Louis Vuitton’s involvement in her life, the ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ star reminisced, “Everyone had the LV-print on their Myspace page,” before admitting, “At least I had that! Let me not try to put that on nobody else. That was definitely me.”

About the campaign

The first campaign of the collaboration between the luxury fashion house and the Golden Globe winner has been shot in the French Riviera region of Cote D’Azur in France. The visuals are captured by the celebrated photographer duo Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. ‘The Greatest Showman’ star exuded her characteristic vivaciousness coupled with poise in her first campaign for the brand featuring LV’s The Capucines handbag. The newly appointed model was styled in mainly black outfits.

The line which was launched in 2013, is made with full-grain Taurillon leather and comes in various styles and sizes. Talking about her preference for bag and the objects she likes to stuff her bag with, Zendaya said, “I prefer to have my hands free,” before adding, “So either I have a small bag—like a crossbody, that I can take with me everywhere. As long as it can fit my phone, lip gloss, and a little camera.”

During the Paris Fashion Week, Zendaya made a surprise visit to the fashion house’s show, reported British Vogue. She was seated in the front row along with other LV brand ambassadors, Emma Stone and Ana de Armas. She wore tiger-printed shorts and a matching blazer with a black bralette underneath.

Talking about the fashion icon and Emmy-winning actress's sartorial choices, her stylist Law Roach shared with People in 2021, "She's fearless," before adding, "She has this really beautiful talent of going on the carpet and evoking whatever story we created in the background." Roach further added, "Her looks are so unexpected and she's constantly evolving. She's really talented in that way. There's no one thing that defines Zendaya."
