Are Zendaya and Tom Holland holidaying in India? Bizarre photo leaves fans confused
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Are Tom Holland and Zendaya holidaying in the lush green landscapes of Kerala in India? A viral image suggests so. The couple could be seen amidst the greenery of Munnar in Kerala walking hand in hand, Holland in a blue half sleeve T-shirt and Zendaya in a mint green turtle-neck. However, there is a twist.
As the day the photo was posted was April 1, surprised fans were skeptical about the picture of the ‘Spiderman: No Way Home’ stars posted by the Kerala Government. As it turned out to be, the photo was indeed fake. On the occasion of April Fool’s Day, Kerala Government decided to play a little prank on the couple's fans who recently visited India for the inauguration of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in Mumbai.

Hawk-eyed netizens, though initially baffled, were quick to point out that the photo was indeed fake and it was photoshopped with some of them even praising the person who edited the photo. The original photo is from April, 2022, when Holland and Zendaya were photographed in Boston, as per Just Jared.
The Kerala Goverment however cleared the confusion later, "Thank you for the great response to our April Fools’ day prank. And though Tom Holland and Zendaya are not here, we would love to welcome them to Kerala!" wrote the official handle.

Hollywood celebs in India
On the occasion of the inauguration of Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre, first of its kind in India, many Hollywood A-listers came to India on March 31. Along with Tom Holland and Zendaya, who were invited to the cultural event, Spanish superstar Penelope Cruz, supermodel Gigi Hadid, fashion designer Law Roach, Priyanka Chopra and her musician husband Nick Jonas were also present. From Bollywood, the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan graced the event.
'Is this real... I can't believe'
"Is this real... I can't believe," reacted one bemused fan. Another fan, who saw through the joke, commented, "Lol. The sweater, especially in April in South India makes it too obvious it’s a fake image." "Tbh this was a good one. Everyone including me was fooled for a bit. I think whoever did this deserves credit ( assuming this was really a picture meant for just for today and the idea was not really to make people believe that they were in Munnar!)," commented a fan who too was fooled. Another social media user even pointed out the mistakes in editing by stating, "LOL Kerala Tourism, atleast edit it properly. There is clear contrast in white shade of light falling in background vs light falling on these two people."
